Good Practice

The Basic Skills Agency have provided funding for the Strategic Intervention Grant (S.I.G). This enables the secondment of good practitioners in both Literacy and Numeracy to be released from schools to:

•      Provide a working partnership with schools, promoting effective teaching and learning in Literacy and Numeracy.
•      Develop key skills in Literacy and Numeracy.
•      Model and share good practice.
•      Support  under-attaining pupils at transition between KS1 – KS2, and KS2 – KS3.
