Our “Teacher Taster Day” at 4pm on Thursday 20 March is a free event, generously funded by HSBC, where school teachers can come along to find out more about what we can offer their learners here at WWT Llanelli. Teachers will be able to experience some of our learning activities first hand, as well as enjoying a free goody bag, buffet, drinks, and a free family ticket to visit WWT Llanelli in their own time to explore even more. Booking is open now and places are limited. More information is available from here  and a flyer is attached.

We are also running a special water programme for National Science and Engineering Week, which teachers might be interested in, suitable for KS2-KS4, giving learners a chance to launch their own enquiry into the water cycle and follow in the footsteps of real WWT scientists conducting experiments to find out how wetlands help us and how people affect the environment. We have places remaining on Monday 17, Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 19 March. Teachers can email here  or phone on 01554 741 087 to book.
